My childhood was immersed in art — conversations with artists were commonplace in my home and helped set the backdrop for my own practice today. To me, art is telling an uninterrupted story on the canvas. Memories, inspiring conversations and nature are my main sources of inspiration. I try to find rhythm and geometry in these elements.

My love for texture and colour comes to life with the tapestries I create — embroidery on linen. I spend hours searching for symmetry on my canvas or tapestries and add layer upon layer to achieve geometry and perfection. I find comfort in repetition, routine and structure.

Ultimately, I wish that my creations exude positivity and tranquillity. I have been painting for over 20 years and have had the good fortune to exhibit all over the world.
